saying, “Father, if You are willing, take away this cup from Me. However, not My will, but Yours be done.”

but I have prayed for you, in order that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have returned, strengthen your brothers.”

And when He had taken the bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body * which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood which is poured out for you.

And being in agony, He was praying more intently, and His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.*

But not so with you. On the contrary, let the greatest among you become like the youngest, and the one who leads like the one who serves.

And He said, “I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today, until you have denied three times that you know Me!”
