For we are His workmanship,* created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance so that we would walk in them.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not as an outcome of works, so that no one may boast.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses,* made us alive together with Christ—by grace you are saved

and raised us together, and seated us together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

So then, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members* of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone
