And for this reason, God sends them a delusion-causing power,** so that they will believe the lie

whose arrival corresponds with the working of Satan with all power and signs and false wonders, and with every deception of unrighteousness for those who are perishing, because they did not accept the love of the truth, so that they would be saved.

For the mystery of lawlessness is at work already; only the One who now restrains will do so* until He is taken out of the way.
