He said, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours, must be done.”

But I have interceded for you in particular, that your faith may not collapse. When you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Then Jesus took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body, which is given for you as a sacrifice. Do this in remembrance of Me."

In the same way, He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup represents the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.

Being in deep anguish, He prayed with greater intensity, and His sweat became like heavy drops of blood falling to the ground.

This must not define life among you. Rather, the one who is regarded as greatest must take the place of the least, and the one who governs must live as a servant.

Jesus replied, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”
