This 25 day Christmas reading plan is designed to provide a daily Bible reading for each day of December leading up to Christmas Day. We will see the significance of Bethlehem, reflect on Mary in Elizabeth’s home, meditate on the manger, and hear Jesus' invitation for us to come home to Him.

In this 25-day Advent devotional journey, you’ll get fresh perspective on the familiar Christmas story, and be inspired to follow the down-to-earth Savior in your everyday life.

Advent is a church tradition to help believers across the globe prepare their hearts for the arrival of Jesus. Over four weeks, we’ll look at themes of hope, peace, joy, and love in the biblical narrative leading up to Jesus’ birth, and how these themes can be applied to our Christmas season this year.

The Christmas season can be an incredibly stressful time of the year. With all the busyness of the Holidays, it’s easy to lose focus on the true meaning of Christmas, the coming of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. The Christmas at Graystone Bible Reading Plan continues our study through the gospel of Luke and helps keep our focus on the life and teaching of Jesus Christ.

In this 4-week Advent Study, we will look at some of the Old Testament promises of the Savior and the humility that would characterize Him. We will study why He came and the response of various people in the Christmas story, including how we too should respond to Jesus and His coming. The Essential Journey to Bethlehem provides you with one short scripture reading each day followed by a reflection question or two designed to help you see how God promised the world a Savior and then kept that promise. Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name....Philippians 2:9  When it comes to God, one name just isn't adequate enough to tell of His great character and mighty power. Matthew’s Gospel opens the New Testament by brilliantly introducing the culmination of the entire Old Testament story. After thousands of years and dozens of generations, Jesus had come “to save his people from their sins” (Mathew 1:21).
