In this 21-day "journey" through Acts chapters 10-18, you will begin to see that the Book of Acts is not merely an account of what happened, but rather what is still happening, to this day, around the world! You will get to see the power of the Holy Spirit on display in the lives of the men and women who followed Jesus back then and recognize and appreciate the Holy Spirit's continued presence and power today.

Jesus told us that our weariness comes from carrying a burden that is too heavy for us. Instead, we are supposed to give our problems, cares, and concerns to Him and allow Him to give us the strength to do what He asks. He will teach us to do this over the next 30 days because He is humble and gentle at heart. God's word will show us examples of people throughout scripture who put their burdens in His hands and found rest for their souls.

God told Joshua four different times to be strong and courageous. What Joshua was about to enter into when overtaking the promised land would shake the core of even the mightiest men. God knew this was coming and commanded him to be strong and courageous. This is true for any leader who is moving where God is leading; there will be opposition, so be strong and courageous. Over the next 30 days, we will look at overcoming fear and focusing on the Lord's help coming through when we decide to be strong and courageous.
