Well, that’s not what it means to follow Jesus. That’s not the kind of life God wants you to live. When reading the Bible, you discover that following Jesus brings joy. God doesn’t give us a life we hate; God gives us a life where our hearts rejoice!
Make a list of the things that bring you joy in your life right now. Thank God for each one, reminding yourself that following Jesus means a joy-filled life.
