Precious Moments That Count For EternityVoorbeeld

My Very Present Help in Time of Need
As a child when I visited parks, I would never be afraid to climb up even the highest slide because I knew my dad was standing right behind me. He’d be there to catch me if I fell. The same can be said of the security that we have in our heavenly Daddy. The amount of care and concern our earthly dads have for us, cannot compare to the care, concern and love our heavenly Father has for us.
Psalm 121:1,2 says, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills - From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” The good news is that He always shows up. We need to know that every time we are in a helpless and hopeless situation, all we have to do is run to our Daddy. He is always going to be there for us and He helps us at our point of need. God is so compassionate. He listens to my fears, gives me hope when I fall and fail, forgives my mistakes, comforts me when I’m hurting and heals my heart. I’m sure He is longing for you to talk to Him every time you fear man or any such situation.
Today’s Scripture applies this concept in a wonderful way; that I can claim His presence when life gets rough. If the King of the universe is on our side, how could we ever lose? Ultimately, every battle is won, every pain is overcome, and every tear is wiped away. Yes, there might be suffering until we receive deliverance, but deliverance will come. He is the one person who will never let you down. Do not fear man, only fear God.
Prayer
Father in heaven, today I know that I always have someone watching over me to help me in my every circumstance. For this I want to thank You, my Daddy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
