Three Simple Things
Some malls, these days, boast of a ‘Snow World’, offering visitors a feeling of being snowbound, a brief experience of snowfall. It is, however, manmade. As a tourist to Kashmir, we might enjoy the feel of real snow and revel in snowfall. Even in such places, though, we have limited stay. The joy is therefore temporary and fleeting.
There is a place called heaven, where joy, peace, good health are never-ending. To enjoy the frills of earth we must often pay, but to participate in the thrill of heaven, we need not pay. It’s free! In order to come to terms with the huge expenses of an outing, we must save money. But to go to heaven, we need only to save our precious soul.
To save our soul, we need to do 3 simple things:
Believe: That Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose on the third day, and that He is the Living God.
Repent: Feel sorry for all our sins with a true and sincere heart, and ask for His forgiveness. Apologize to whoever we have hurt. It takes courage to say ‘sorry’. Be bold!
Accept: Him alone as our Savior. As all those who accept Him are His children, His property (heaven) is ours.
Doing the above is so simple, but it should not be done merely with lip service. It must be done wholeheartedly.
Prayer
Abba Father, help me keep my heart with all diligence so that I get to step into the lovely mansion that You have kept ready for me. I make this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.

It is our prayer that it will reveal to those who don’t know Jesus Christ, that there is a Creator and Maker of this universe, the only loving and powerful God who longs for a personal relationship with every human being. We pray that these daily readings will remind us all of the great hope and abundant joy in knowing Jesus Christ, through whom we have eternal life!
