“A Battle Of The Heart” It is easy to get distracted in life. This was true even during the disciples’ day. Sometimes we put following Jesus second to things such as sports, other’s opinions, or success. After Jesus’ death He appeared to many people, including His disciples. When He appeared to them, He asked them some tough questions. Jesus knew the intentions Peter had, and in the same way, Jesus knows every part of our hearts. In this passage you just read, Peter was challenged about which he loved more – Jesus or his fisherman way of life. Pray - Is there an area in your life where you are not placing God first? Pray that you would be willing to put God first in those areas. - Ask God to give you the power to not give into chasing things of this world.
