Hosea 8-10

This Bible study devotional covers Hosea 8-10. In this passage, Hosea brings the promise of Israel’s destruction. Because they have trusted in political alliances and false gods, their judgment is coming. And it will be so severe that they would prefer the mountains to bury them than to face what was coming. As always, we are committed to showing you how Jesus fulfills these specific passages. In Hosea 8-10, we see that Jesus repeated Hosea’s promise of coming judgment on his way to the cross. But the good news is that Jesus bore the mountain-crushing punishment we deserved. Even though we chose our political and national idols over him, he rescues us from what we deserve.
