A mediocre marriage does not necessarily mean the couple is fighting. You can have a quiet marriage that is joyless. In fact, many Christian marriages are like that; they don’t fight or shout, but they are dead as far as joy is concerned. That brother or lady that was full of life and bubbling is dead; If you look into their eyes, there is no joy of marriage, they are just coasting along, and God does not want you to have that. He wants you to have a marriage that is full of joy, that you are excited at each other and excited at your marriage. PRAYER: Lord, I make a decision today to consistently apply the right principles for a victorious and joyful marriage in Jesus’ name.
