The Right Kind of ConfidentHalimbawa

Whether your confidence battle is big or small, you can be assured that your confidence will grow strong and tall as the date palm or cedar when you grow in the fear of the Lord. Women today are plagued with fears, insecurities, and anxieties. Popular wisdom tells us that the answer to this problem is to believe in ourselves more. But the Bible provides a different solution. It teaches that the way to combat fear is with more fear—fear of a different kind. A godly, reverent fear is what will transform us into bold, courageous, confident women.
Relying on God transforms your can’t-do into a can-do. You can do all things through him who gives you strength! (Phil. 4:13)
As your fear of God increases, your fear of circumstances decreases. The fear of God changes you from
scared to secure,
rattled to relaxed,
panicked to peaceful,
agitated to awed,
bashful to bold,
frightened to faith-filled,
cowardly to confident,
and daunted to daring!
Becoming a reverent, God-fearing woman will alleviate your fears, reduce your anxieties, and infuse you with courage.
As the wise sage said, “In the fear of the LORD one has strong confidence” (Prov. 14:26).
The right kind of confidence!
Prayer
Father, thank you for giving me the strength and boldness to be confident in you. Thank you for always being there for me and giving me confidence through my fear of you. Amen.
