How Much Work Is Enough? - Part IV
In this series on how much work is enough, we’ve discussed some thoughts on determining your work schedule. In a Wall Street Journal article, Dr. Pang discovered that shorter work weeks has proven successful for many businesses.
For instance, Microsoft Japan turned heads when they announced that productivity increased by 40% and electricity dropped 23% when they shifted to four-day weeks!
Short weeks, however, won’t work for all businesses, especially those who bill clients hourly.
Deuteronomy 30:8 says, “Obey the Lord, and observe all His commandments which I command you today. Then the Lord your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hand.”
Don’t be beholden to traditions. God can provide more in less time. Seek God for His ideal work week for your business.
