Listing your top favorite things gets tricky. You go from having that one most important thing, to two, to okay one more...three... until the list includes your grandma’s cousin’s next-door-neighbor’s chocolate chip cookie recipe. Before you know it, so many things get your affection and attention that the list clutters your life, and nothing is getting the quality attention it deserves. It’s good to pause, reevaluate the things your attention is divided between, and start fresh. This week ask Jesus to help you start fresh as you renew your commitment to God. He promises that when you move closer to him, He will move closer to you.
