A New NormalHalimbawa

Day 10
Quick history lesson: Gentile means Non-Jew. In biblical times, Jews did not eat at the same table as Gentiles, chose not to drink Gentile wine and strict Jews even forbid associating with Gentiles.
In Acts 10 we see God sending Peter into the scandalous—sharing the Gospel with Gentiles. Peter bravely accepted Cornelius’ request to meet with him and told him the Gospel. He even ensured that nothing he said resulted in him receiving the glory that was rightfully God’s. How different from today’s world where we strive for the affirmation of those around us! Christ has given us a new norm: get out of your comfort zone. We must break down the walls of discrimination that were not built by God, striving for inclusivity and understanding that God’s love stretches beyond what we conceive as acceptable. The Gospel is for everyone.
