Jesus Is God

Jesus Christ is the exact representation of the God who created every atom in the universe. When He cleared the temple of the money changers, He was expressing God’s hatred of hypocrisy. When He walked on water and calmed the storm, He was revealing the sovereignty of God over His creation. When He raised people from the dead, He was showing us the power of God over the grave. When He wept at the graveside of Lazarus (four days dead) and shed tears over Jerusalem, He was expressing the compassionate heart of His Father:

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:13–16)

Do I correctly exalt Jesus in my theology?

Father, I honor Jesus as I honor you, according to your Word (John 5:23).
