The Domino EffectHalimbawa

What was the purpose of the Garden of Eden? Adam and Eve? Creation and the fall? From the beginning, God set up his dominoes for a specific reason, a specific purpose to a specific person; Jesus. We see Jesus in the book of Genesis, we see him come onto the scene, and we see Peter preach his heart out in Acts 2, where 3,000 people turn their life over to Jesus. Acts 2:23 says,
This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge. God always had a deliberate plan and he has a deliberate plan for us as well.
Remember those seasons of waiting? Do you remember thinking, “Ugh, I know a better way. I can figure this out! If I only could be given the reigns, I know I would get myself or my family out of this situation.” The early Christians waited… then the Holy Spirit came… and then BOOM! Peter opened his mouth and the followers of Jesus grew from 120 to 3,120. I think we should trust in the waiting.

You’ve heard of the domino effect, right? The term is used to describe when one event sets off a chain reaction of other events.. Is your life, your choices and your commitments creating a domino line? Our mission and call as believers in Jesus is to continue to build our domino line so generation after generation will be able to proclaim the name of Jesus.
