Nang ito'y makita ni Aaron, gumawa siya ng altar sa harap nito at sinabi sa mga tao, “Ipagpipista natin bukas si Yahweh.” Kinabukasan, maaga silang bumangon at naghandog ng mga hayop at sinunog sa altar. Nagpatay pa sila ng hayop na kanilang pinagsalu-saluhan. Sila'y nagpakabusog, nag-inuman at mahalay na nagkasayahan.
