Prayer can sometimes seem lonely. Often, in prayer, I try to quiet my heart and soul, and my mind races everywhere. Sometimes I just fall asleep. There are times when it feels like my prayers bounce off the ceiling. What we often don’t realize, however, is that the Lord offers us good news right in these places. Let’s spend some time considering the good news about prayer.

In a crowded Christmas season, most of us feel the stress and anxiety of family relationships, financial pressure, hasty decisions, and disappointed expectations. So go ahead. Take a breath. Start this Life.Church Bible Plan and realize the weight we feel may be something God never asked us to carry. How about we let go of the baggage? Let’s travel light.

When we celebrate Easter, we celebrate the greatest triumph in history. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, He forever defeated the power of sin and the grave, and all their resulting side effects, and He chose to share that victory with us. This Easter week, let’s dive into some of the strongholds He conquered, reflect on the fight He fought for us, and praise Him as our Banner of Victory.
