2 Corinthians 1:4

அநித்தியமான உலகில் நமக்கு அனுமதிக்கப்படும் நல் அனுபவங்களை சுமப்பதால் நித்தியத்தின் சாயல் பெறுகிறோம். பெறுகிற அனுபவங்கள் நம் வாழ்வில் நெறிமுறை கற்றுத்தருகிறது. நடை பெறும் சம்பவங்கள் நீண்ட எதிர்பார்ப்பையும் நல் நம்பிக்கையும் அருளுகிறது. நம்மை நெறிப்படுத்தும் மறை நூல் எழுத்துக்கள் நன்மை தீமை அறிய நம்முள் அழுத்தம் தருகின்றது. நமது இதயத்துள் குடி கொள்ளும் ஆவியின் பிரமாணமே தீமையிலிருந்து நம்மை விடுவித்து நன்மை பக்கம் நிற்க பெலன் தருகிறது. அடிக்கடி மன உளைச்சலால் குலைந்து போகும் நம்பிக்கை கடவுள் நமக்குள் அருளும் தீபத்தால் ஒளியாய் நம்முள் அணையா விளக்காய் மாறுகிறது. அடுத்தவரின் விளக்கை ஏற்றவும் தரிசித்து நடவாமல் விசுவாசித்து நித்திய நோக்கத்தை பற்றி வாழ தேவ ஆவியானவர் பெலன் செய்கிறார். இந்த அனுபவமே நம்முள் வளரும் நித்தியத்தின் நிழல்.
