No Hiding 

During the days when I was far away from the Lord, I had no fear of God in me. Whenever the exams drew near, my mother used to question me, “Paul, did you take notes?” I would readily reply, “Yes! Yes!”, because all the main points would have been written in bits of paper, hidden all over my body to copy during the exam. In the exam hall, some of the supervisors would ask me if I needed any help, just because they knew my father, Bro. Dhinakaran. I would tell them jokingly, “Sir, just leave me alone, that is the greatest help you can do for me.” At last, my mind completely lost its understanding and retaining capacity. A strange fear engulfed me. At this crucial stage, I sought the Lord. He anointed me with His Holy Spirit and became my dearest friend. Whenever I sat down to study, I used to place a vacant chair near me and I would say, “Lord, please give me an understanding heart and imprint this on my mind.” After I finished studying those particular topics, I would be delighted to see that everything was clearly etched in my mind. 

My friend, many times even you may tread such evil paths not listening to the words of your parents. It will be pleasing to you only for few days, but eventually you will find yourself in the bondage of fear and darkness. Make a commitment today by allowing Jesus to come into your life and He will work wonders in you. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I understand that my evil doings induce fear in me and that I’m destroying myself. I commit myself to listen to Your word today and abide by Your instructions. Pour out Your spirit on me and release me from my bondage of fear. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
