Temporary Pitfall 

If you have read the Bible, you cannot miss a character called Joseph in the book of Genesis. He was hated by his own brothers who were jealous of him. The reason being God had revealed that He would lift Joseph to great heights. To stop the fulfillment of the vision, they planned to kill him and threw him into a pit. Later they sold him to foreigners who passed by that way. Joseph’s troubles did not end there. He experienced rejection, loneliness, and wrongful allegations and there was none to speak on his behalf. But he had the gift of ‘interpretation of dreams’ due to his constant communion with the Lord. He became the Prime Minister of Egypt. At the end, his brothers came to him for food during the famine and Joseph forgave them and they repented for their folly. 

Yes! At last, God’s word triumphed. No weapon on this earth can stand against His promises. The pit was a good start for him, wasn’t it? Do not brood over the pit you are in. Your jealous friends will always push you into the right pit. Pits are temporary. You will reach the throne, that is intended for you. Enter this day with a smile. 

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You for the promise You have made in my life. I believe nothing can stand against Your word. I know that all the people you have placed in my life have a purpose, that is to push me into the right pit. Help me to reach my destiny. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
