Building Trust | Truth The final letter in our TRUST acronym is T for Truth . You can serve others, build a strong relationship, acquire testimonials, and even exceed expectations, yet undermine all the trust you’ve built by lying. Jesus only spoke Truth . Before committing to follow Him, Peter and Andrew spent enough time with Jesus to know He was not a liar. The final truth that cemented it for Peter was when Jesus said, "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch." Luke 5:9 teaches, "For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken." Jesus once again proved He was a truth teller. If you desire to build trust, it’s critical that you be a truth teller, not a liar.
