Master, the Tempest Is Ragingනියැදිය

YOUR POSITION IS POWERFUL!
When God created Adam and Eve in His image, He intended for them to operate in His power and authority. He bestowed upon them the authority and said: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” Genesis 1:28. However, Adam and Eve failed to recognize the power in the authority God had given them and were distracted by satan’s craftiness – satan wanted to have dominion over them, so he tricked them to disobey God. As a consequence, their authority was stripped away, resulting in ramifications that affected all of humanity: “For as by one man's disobedience, the many were made sinners...” Romans 5:19a.
But God, in response to the dire condition of man, sent His Son Jesus Christ in order to restore and redeem man to His original position –“...so by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.” Romans 5:19b.
The good news is that if we have received Jesus as our personal Saviour and have become His true disciple, we must believe that we are children, chosen, loved, and forgiven. Furthermore, we are co-heirs with Jesus, endowed with the same authority He possesses. We are now called to walk in freedom, fully aware of our position in Christ. We have also become the temple of God’s Holy Spirit, who gives us power to comprehend our position in Christ. Hallelujah!
Prayer: Father, I thank You for choosing me before the foundation of the world. I believe that through Jesus’ death and resurrection, I have been redeemed. I believe I will reign in life because I am in Christ Jesus, and I am a co-heir of Jesus. Amen.

The disciples were caught in a storm while Jesus slept in their boat. They woke Him, pleading for help, and He miraculously calmed the storm. Similarly, in troubled marriages, we may seek God’s divine intervention, but God often focuses on transforming hearts. This devotional encourages opening our hearts to Jesus for the necessary support in a marital relationship. In order to restore a marriage relationship, God may sometimes choose just one spouse. You may be that one! We pray that this devotional will guide you in opening your heart to Jesus, allowing Him to provide the counsel you need.
