Master, the Tempest Is Ragingනියැදිය

GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOUR MARRIAGE
Man was created to bring glory to God, reflecting His magnificence in all aspects of life. Just as everything was made for His glory, marriage was also instituted to glorify God.
God created man in His own image. He made the husband and wife as “One” so that together they would reflect God’s glory. However, man failed to grasp this truth, thereby allowing himself to be tricked by the enemy. By believing the lies of the enemy, man ultimately forfeited the glory of God that had enveloped him.
Ever since the first Adam desecrated marriage, this institution has lost the very purpose for which God created it. The couple, who intended to walk in unity, began to see one another as adversaries, engaging in blame rather than support. Unsatisfied with the one woman God had provided, man sought out multiple partners, leading to the emergence of polygamy. This dissatisfaction culminated to the extent of breaking the sacred covenant (divorce) with his wife and getting married again to another person (adultery). This exemplifies man’s rebellion against God’s plan.
But God’s plan for mankind remains unchanged. It is still the same – no culture or government can change the plan of God. If you feel that God’s design for your marriage is under threat, take heart - God is able to save your marriage!
Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, I realise that You have a definite plan for my marriage. I am sorry, I did not understand this. Today, I believe that You are able to save my marriage and fulfil Your plan for our marriage. I willingly submit myself and my marriage into Your hands for Your perfect will to be done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The disciples were caught in a storm while Jesus slept in their boat. They woke Him, pleading for help, and He miraculously calmed the storm. Similarly, in troubled marriages, we may seek God’s divine intervention, but God often focuses on transforming hearts. This devotional encourages opening our hearts to Jesus for the necessary support in a marital relationship. In order to restore a marriage relationship, God may sometimes choose just one spouse. You may be that one! We pray that this devotional will guide you in opening your heart to Jesus, allowing Him to provide the counsel you need.
