RISE UP!
You may find yourself reflecting, "God guided me into this marriage; He provided His Word and confirmed His will for me." This is wonderful, and it indicates that you are on the right path. However, consider your journey together: have both of you remained faithful to God? Have you dedicated time to listen and to talk to Him?
Many enter marriage believing that making the right choice is the most significant aspect of this commitment. Once that choice has been made, it is easy to forget the One who led us. We tend to gradually drift away from God, where our relationship with God is stolen or exchanged for other pursuits.
If this resonates with you, the solution is clear: return to God. Repent for having taken your life and marriage for granted. Invite God to become an active partner in your life and marriage. When God is actively involved, we open ourselves to His direction at every step, allowing the Holy Spirit of God to teach, guide, and counsel us. You can start now! Repent for neglecting your relationship with Him, whether due to work or even ministry commitments. Start speaking to Him about your situation. Read His Word! Allow Him to speak to you.
The moment you start listening to God, your journey will transform into a well-guided one. The Holy Spirit of God will teach you all things. He will guide you into all truth – truth about yourself, your spouse, your marriage, and also about your children. Trust Him and begin your journey with Him today.
Prayer: Father, forgive me for not depending on You for my life after the wedding. Forgive me for not taking time to talk to You and listen to You. I want You to restore my relationship with You. I invite You to rule & reign in my marriage. I am willing to obey Your voice & Your Word. Restore my relationship with my spouse. Help me, Lord. Amen.

The disciples were caught in a storm while Jesus slept in their boat. They woke Him, pleading for help, and He miraculously calmed the storm. Similarly, in troubled marriages, we may seek God’s divine intervention, but God often focuses on transforming hearts. This devotional encourages opening our hearts to Jesus for the necessary support in a marital relationship. In order to restore a marriage relationship, God may sometimes choose just one spouse. You may be that one! We pray that this devotional will guide you in opening your heart to Jesus, allowing Him to provide the counsel you need.
