The New Testament is full of letters written by the Apostle Paul and fellow believers. In this study we will delve into a number of these letters to deeply explore practical wisdom, encouragement, and unwavering faith. These letters will challenge, encourage, and transform us as we seek to apply the timeless truths to our own lives. Join us as we journey through these letters.

Followers of Jesus are called to become more like him in every part of our lives: our thoughts, our words, our actions, and our attitudes. Philippians 2 shows how we can “have the same attitude as Jesus,” which will impact not just our relationship with God but also our relationships with each other.

This plan is intended as a guide to discovering the message of Philippians for yourself! Grab a notebook to jot down your thoughts as you are led through a process of: (1) observing the text of Philippians; (2) interpreting the original message to the church at Philippi; and (3) applying the letter’s timeless truths to your own life.

This plan will explore what Paul’s letter to the Philippians can teach us in four different areas. 1) WHO GOD IS: God’s character and nature 2) WHO WE ARE: the identity of humanity and/or followers of Jesus 3) WHAT WE BELIEVE: core Christian doctrines 4) HOW WE LIVE: putting faith into action

Through this plan, we read Philippians 2 to understand the message Paul was getting across to the church. Seeing things in their proper perspective can change our thinking and, ultimately, our responses to the things around us. Paul, in his letter, brings perspective to who we are, resulting in how we should behave when we choose a life in Christ.

 God sent His only begotten son onto earth in the likeness of men. He was so much more than simply a "man," but what we can learn from Jesus' humanity and heart during His earthly ministry? In this study, we'll look at Philippians 2 to see how to live Godly in an ungodly world.

This is part of a series that will take you through the entire New Testament in a year. Each month's plan covers a specific book(s). January completes Matthew, then focuses on Ephesians, Philippians, 2 Thessalonians, and 2 and 3 John. The plan is designed to be used with a small group of friends. Read the daily passage first, reflect on one or more questions, and try the engagement practice.

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name....Philippians 2:9  When it comes to God, one name just isn't adequate enough to tell of His great character and mighty power. One name simply cannot contain our Savior. Through studying the names of God, we get to know our Savior more fully and spend time adoring Him for who He is.

Philippians is all about Jesus! This 6-day plan will walk you through the book of Philippians by reading just a chapter or two a day. Each day is accompanied by a short devotional and video that explains what’s happening and shows you how each part of the story points to Jesus and his Gospel.

What truly matters is loving God and loving others, but how do we do that effectively? The truth is, we can’t love people well in our own power.
