NOUN: The action of saving or being saved from sin, error or evil.
Redemption is only needed if we have sinned, given in to evil, or failed. The problem is that we have sinned, we have all given in to evil, and we have all failed in at least one point in our lives. Jesus came to redeem us or save us from our sins by dying on the cross at Calvary.
Even with that amazing gift, all of us will still sin again even after accepting Jesus. God’s love, grace and mercy for us, His children, doesn’t end at salvation. It’s just the beginning. No matter what you’ve done, no matter how far you’ve fallen, God is still waiting and wanting to redeem you back to Himself.
