In this edition, we explore some of the things that brought Paul joy, recognising that at the time of writing he was imprisoned. And yet despite his testing circumstances, Paul was still able to find much to be joyful about as he considered the life and witness of the disciples in and around Philippi. Their desire to be faithful to Christ’s call on their lives produced great joy in him, and repeatedly we sense his pleasure in what the church in Philippi had become.
