DAY 7 – CELEBRATE
Celebrate good times - come on! Today is not only a celebration for you completing our challenge; it’s a celebration for ALL of your victories! It’s so important we celebrate our victories, big and small. Celebrating yourself helps you build confidence! How, you say? Well, if you start keeping track of your wins and celebrating them, when those bad days come, and you aren’t feeling your best, you will have a reference you are actually winning! Celebrating your victories helps change your mindset from scarcity thinking to abundance thinking! It helps you to keep track of what you have achieved.
Psalm 47:1 says “Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!”
We are to celebrate and give continuous praise to God for our victories!
Write your victories for the day. What about your victories from the week? The month? How did you decide to celebrate your victories? Create a plan, so you are very intentional about celebrating yourself. For example, I may grab some frozen yogurt to celebrate hosting a workshop, or maybe I’ll take a walk at my favorite park. Maybe I’ll watch my favorite movie. Celebrating doesn’t always call for spending money. It could be just calling up your friends who celebrate and support you and sharing the good news. Some days, I just have a praise break! I throw on my gospel music and have my own worship party! Regardless of how you choose to celebrate, it’s important to make self-celebration a part of our daily lives.
