The Story of Everything

At the heart of this series is a simple but weighty truth: everything begins and ends with God. Genesis 1–11 gives us a front-row seat to His power, goodness, justice, patience and grace, and helps us make sense of our world, our sin, and our deep longing for hope.

Our prayer is that across this series we would freshly encounter the glory of God, seeing Him in the goodness of creation, longing for Him in the brokenness of the fall, and trusting Him in His steadfast love and faithfulness.

The Beginning of Everything - Creation

God entrusted something precious to man: the spiritual responsibility of the home. From the beginning, man was called to live before God and lead his family in the path of faith. When a man rises up, the home finds direction. When he remains silent, the household becomes vulnerable. This plan is a clear and urgent call: men returning to the altar, embracing their role as priests of their families, and walking with God once again. The last chapter of Exodus ends with an interesting detail – Moses can’t enter the tent of meeting because it is filled with God’s glory. God’s presence is so holy that even Moses can’t come near! Therefore, God must sanctify Moses and His people for holiness, and this is what Leviticus is about. Leviticus means “And He Called”. God calls us to repentance and a lifelong journey of holiness.
