Essential Journey To The Cross

What does a suffering experience mean to you? How would you describe it in a few words? 

For Jesus it was a journey of suffering and death on the way to resurrection. For us as believers, suffering is a journey to know Him and experience the power of His resurrection by sharing in His suffering, and thus becoming equal to Him in His death.
 
During this Lent journey, we spend 40 days with the questions that Jesus asked in the last days of his life.
