Easter is the central holiday for Christians, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and His victory over sin and death. 

Unfortunately, in our society, Easter is undervalued. It's not celebrated with the same fervor as Christmas: homes aren't decorated a month in advance, and families don't sing Easter songs together.
