The Spirit Promised to the Churchਨਮੂਨਾ

If the Holy Spirit Is a Person Who Speaks, Why Don’t You Speak to Him?
The Holy Spirit has feelings, and this is something unique to a person—fire cannot feel sorrow, and a flame cannot love. The Bible says that He loves and that He can become grieved (Isaiah 63:10, Ephesians 4:30).
Another characteristic that defines Him as a person is that He has a will. He distributes spiritual gifts as He wills:
“But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.” — 1 Corinthians 12:11
Finally, let’s look at the fact that the Holy Spirit speaks:
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will tell you things to come.” —John 16:13
Here is where my second question for you arises:
If the Holy Spirit is a person and speaks, why don’t you speak to Him? You don’t speak to a power, or to a flame of fire, or to a cloud. But if you know that the Holy Spirit is a person, you should have a conversation with Him.
About this Plan

Today we can say that the Church of Jesus Christ is of one mind regarding the Holy Spirit; we all know that He is God. Throughout this Bible study plan, we will learn a little more about the person of the Holy Spirit, His attributes, and His mission while answering three questions: If the Holy Spirit is God, why don't you worship Him as God? If the Holy Spirit is a person, why don't you speak to Him? If the Holy Spirit is the leader of the church, where have you placed Him?
