Power On!ਨਮੂਨਾ

What do you desire? What do you find yourself thinking about and setting your heart on?
Whatever it is, Solomon here says it doesn’t even compare with wisdom!
But how is wisdom found? The chapter uses words like “listen”, “hear”, “choose”, “watch”, “wait” and “find”; all action words implying a going after, of being intentional.
The pursuit is worth it because with wisdom are found success, strength, wealth, justice, joy and life! These are the things we often desire, but at the root of them all, and in charge of them all, is wisdom!
Rather than being distracted by your wants and needs, first go after wisdom. Pray for wisdom, and search His Word - which reveals His wisdom to us - and we will live the kind of life He wants us to lead! God is the ultimate source of wisdom, but He wants us to want it, to seek it.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, sorry for the times I ignored You and to go after my own agenda. Help me to prioritise Your ways and allow You to be the one in charge of my blessing. Amen.

About this Plan

With Jesus, we want to go from "standing by" to stepping out! Through these readings, experience stories of when God led people to turn "on" their spiritual power and saw the Holy Spirit move through them. God is ready to do miracles on Earth, but we can miss out on what He is ready to do by staying in the boat like Peter nearly did. These Scriptures will encourage you to step out of the boat and see the Power of the Holy Spirit move!
