About Maverick City Music

Maverick: unorthodox, free spirit, rule breaker, one that breaks away from the heard. Maverick City started with a dream to make space for folks that would otherwise live in their own separate worlds. We break the unspoken rules that exist in the CCM and Gospel music world! More importantly, Maverick aims to be a megaphone for a community of creatives that believe in Jesus and the Gospel, but have been pushed to the margins of the industry of Church Music.
