Money Matters

DAY 6 OF 8

The Church Is God’s Plan A

Jesus said clearly and without hesitation, “I will build My Church.” If this is what Jesus is building, then this is what we are called to invest in.

It is important to settle this in your heart. The Church is not trying to take from you. The Church is trying to lead you into the fullness of what God has for you. God is not after your money. He is after your heart. And Scripture is clear, your heart and your treasure are always connected.

Tithing expresses trust. It is the intentional return of what already belongs to God. It reflects alignment with the values of heaven and positions us to participate in the very thing Jesus said He would build, His Church. Through tithing, we respond in faith, we honour His Lordship, and we take our place in the unfolding work of God on the earth.

Paul instructed the Church to give with consistency and purpose. Not sporadically. Not emotionally. But with faith, vision, and intention. The world gives when it feels convenient. Kingdom people give because they are anchored in eternal priorities.

The tithe strengthens the mission. It empowers the ministry. It carries the weight of what we build together. Yes, it funds practical needs like seats, sound, screens, but more than that, it carries the Gospel into lives, into homes, into cities. If you want to understand what truly matters to someone, follow where their money goes. Your spending will always reveal your convictions.

Jesus said, “Follow Me.” And this call reaches into every corner of your life. It includes your time. It includes your future. And it includes your finances. This is not a partial commitment. It is a whole-life surrender.

When you bring your tithe, you are making a declaration. You are saying, I trust God more than I trust my income. I believe in the vision of this house. I am not here as a spectator. I am here to build.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for building Your Church. I do not want to watch from the sidelines. I want to be part of what You are doing. Teach me to give with consistency and faith, not just with my words, but with my treasure. You gave everything for me. I choose to give back with a full heart.

About this Plan

Money Matters

Jesus taught about money and why it matters so much to our walk with him. Money is not just a resource; it reveals what we trust, who we serve, and how we live. As we learn about stewardship, tithing, and generosity, we will discover how following Jesus transforms our hearts and shapes the way we live.
