Money Matters

DAY 3 OF 8

Boundaries Bring Breakthrough

If your money could speak, what would it reveal? Would it describe you as wise or reckless? Disciplined or simply drifting?

Many are not living in financial strength. They are surviving under pressure, constantly reaching for the next paycheck to cover what feels like an endless gap. But that is not the life God has called you to. You were never created just to make it through. You were created to thrive.

This is why stewardship is vital. It is not about limiting your freedom. It is about stepping into the power to choose what matters most. Proverbs 25:28 speaks of a person without self-control as a city without walls. Exposed. Disordered. Vulnerable to anything that wants to come in and take over.

Without boundaries, your finances remain reactive and unstable. But when you bring your money under God’s authority, you create space to build with purpose. You begin to move from paycheck to purpose. From uncertainty to stability. From fear to wisdom.

This is not about thinking small. It is about thinking wisely. Stewardship is not fear-based. It is faith-fuelled. It is not about holding tightly to what you have. It is about learning to manage it with wisdom so that God can entrust you with more.

Jesus spoke clearly. You cannot serve two masters. If money is left without vision, it will write its own. It will follow your patterns. It will reflect your priorities. If you do not lead your money, it will begin to lead you.

Setting boundaries is an act of vision. It is the beginning of a legacy. It is the framework for building the Church and preparing a future that others can walk into with confidence.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, bring clarity where confusion has taken hold. Reveal the areas where I have neglected wisdom. Teach me how to live with intention and honour You with what I have. I choose to live not just to survive, but to build. I choose to thrive.

About this Plan

Money Matters

Jesus taught about money and why it matters so much to our walk with him. Money is not just a resource; it reveals what we trust, who we serve, and how we live. As we learn about stewardship, tithing, and generosity, we will discover how following Jesus transforms our hearts and shapes the way we live.
