Refresh My Soul: Discovering God’s Promises for a Purposeful LifeIhe Nhụchatụ

Day 30: He Is Faithful to Finish
Paul, once a persecutor of Christians, became one of the most influential followers of Jesus. His journey wasn’t easy—shipwrecks, beatings, imprisonment, and opposition met him at every turn.
Yet through all the trials, Paul never gave up. Why? Because he was convinced of one thing: the God who began the work in him would be faithful to finish it. Writing from a prison cell to the believers in Philippi, Paul encouraged them with a truth that had carried him through every valley and victory.
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (Philippians 1:6 NLT).
Some seasons we feel stuck—when progress feels slow, and the promises of God seem distant. We wonder if we’ll ever become who we’re meant to be or if the dreams God placed in our hearts will ever come to life. In those moments, remember: God finishes what He starts.
He is still working. Your story isn’t over. His hand is still writing.
APPLICATION

- PRAY
Father, thank You for being my faithful finisher. I trust You with my journey. When I feel tired or unsure, remind me that You never quit. Keep shaping me. Keep working. I know You’ll finish what You started. Amen.
- SAY
God is not finished with me—He is faithful to complete what He started.
- ASK
What feels unfinished, and how can I lean on God’s faithfulness to continue trusting the process?
