30 Days With the Psalmsનમૂનો

Trusting God
“Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You do I pray. O LORD, in the morning You hear my voice” (Psalm 5:2-3 ESV).
David asks for God’s attention. His daily prayers are a “cry” to his King and God: a cry for help, justice and guidance. In his prayer, David also expresses his faith that God will deal with evil and that He will “spread His protection” over all who take refuge in Him, so that they will “ever sing for joy”.
In short, we read a prayer of a man who trusts God in difficult circumstances, based on his earlier experiences. David knows his King and God personally, see for example verse 13 (ESV): “For you bless the righteous, O LORD”, and verse 4 (also ESV): “For you are not a God who delights in wickedness”. David knows Whom he is praying to. For him, God is not a stranger but his personal King whom he daily “talks” with.
How is this for you? Do you know God personally and intimately? Do you ask for His guidance every day, for help in difficult situations, for justice in a sinful world… and do you, like David, experience that He hears?
