But What Did God Say?

Jour 2 sur 7

You are called to be in this world, but not of this world. In other words, you are a part of the kingdom and not a part of the culture. We've all heard the saying, "Do it for the culture?" It should be "Do it for the kingdom." As sons and daughters of the Most High God, you must be the hands and feet of Jesus in all that you do. You are a representation of Christ on earth. So, you have to display His heart and love in all that you do. You want to fit in, but you were created to stand out. You must understand that you will not be accepted into something that you were sent to influence. This means you will have to be set apart to fulfill your responsibilities as a follower of Jesus. People will notice the difference in you, and that's ok. That is God's plan. They will see Him in you and want to know more. You are called to be an example of what is good, acceptable, and the perfect will of your Father in heaven. Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for a renewed and transformed mind. I have been called to serve You and display Your goodness and glory everywhere that I go. I do not take that responsibility lightly. I will not conform to the culture; instead, I will influence the culture to conform to Your kingdom. In Jesus name, Amen Think it Over Take an assessment of the areas in your life where God has placed you in a position to bring about influence and change. Are you conforming to the environment, or are you using your power and authority through Christ to shift the environment to mirror the kingdom?
