Imagine this: You’re outside after dark with a couple of friends, and you’re trying to walk somewhere. It’s so dark though that you can’t even see your feet as your walking. What do you do to keep yourself from tripping? You pull out your phone and use its flashlight!

In a similar way, when we follow Jesus with our lives, it’s like we have a flashlight shining on the steps we’re taking in our lives—a light helping us make better decisions at home, at school, on our team, and in our relationships. And just how your phone’s flashlight can light the way for you AND your friends as you’re walking, Jesus can also light the way for your friends, too.

Do you have a friend going through a dark, tough situation right now? Help them experience some of Jesus’ light by letting them know you’re praying for them and are there for them if they need it.
