BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS

PRAY: Dear Jesus, help me from being misled by the people I've chosen to be around. Would you reveal to me anyone who may be "bad company" for I don't want to open myself up to anything or anyone who could corrupt my character. I want to be a person of good and strong character so that You are proud of me, and if I am being influenced by anyone who is hindering that, I ask for You to show me who it is and what I need to do about it. Amen

REFLECT: Wow, it's hard to start evaluating our friends and deciding which ones may be bad company. We're not supposed to judge, but opening ourselves up to negative influences is wrong. So, how do you decide if you need to clean house and step away from anyone who may be leading you astray, or encouraging you to compromise on your character and integrity? That's something to think about!

ACT:  Be honest with yourself right now and make a tough choice. Are you completely sure that the people closest to you, make you a better person, or is there anyone you've let in to your inner circle who is bad for you? It's time to determine your influences right now. Do you need to separate yourself from any bad company? If so, this is the moment! If not, then praise God for all of the great people in your life!
