Pray for those who persecute you.

Forgivness isn’t declaring them innocent. It’s resigning from the position of JUDGE. You are not saying it doesn’t matter.

You are saying, “Lord, this matters so much I’m turning this
over to you”

Forgiveness isn’t pretending the wound didn’t hurt.

It’s deciding that the wound will not determine the kind of person you will become

They gave you hate - You give them grace
They gave you anger - You give them peace
They gave you cursing - You give them a blessing
They gave you a slap - You turn the other cheek
