Summer is a season of warmth and sunshine that makes things grow. This summer, we are
looking at some ways we can grow in our relationship with God.

QUESTIONS:

Light: Direction from God
How have you or how do you want God to guide you?
Read the 1 John 1:5-10 and Psalm 119:105-112. How do we see Jesus and the light, and how
does God guide us? What steps do these passages call us to take to experience the light?
The Grass is Greener: Contentment
How have you experienced the struggle of comparison or FOMO?
Read Philippians 4:4-13.
Paul talks about contentment. What are some things in this passage that build up our lives to
find contentment?

Campfire: Fan the Flame
How is your relationship with God? A raging fire? Well-lit? A small flame or some low-burning
coals? In 2 Timothy, we are called to fan the flame of our relationship with God. The troubles in
this world can try to snuff out the fire, but what are some ways you can fan the flame?
