How to Pray for His Kingdom to Come
1. Pray for His Authority in your life
a. His truth to be your truth
b. His order to be your order
c. His power to overcome darkness
2. Pray for His glory to be revealed
3. Pray for the revelation and return of Jesus

Praying His will to be done is surrendering to righteousness.

Pray, "Whatever You want, I want it."

Your will — your wants, thoughts, and your words — is either serving God's agenda or Satan's.

THREE WAYS TO PRAY HIS WILL
1. Ask Him
a. What is on His heart
b. What is on His mind
c. What His Ways are
2. Humble yourself and submit your desires to God
a. Pray: “Not my will be done.”
3. Pray that He would increase
a. "Let Your will be done."

Hebrew: שָׁמַר (Shamar) = To keep, guard, watch over, observe; to diligently protect, preserve, and pay careful attention to that which one is responsible for

Greek: γρηγορέω (Grēgoreō) = To watch, to be awake, to be vigilant; to stay spiritually alert and on guard, remaining watchful and attentive at all times

1. What's on God's heart
2. Condition of your heart
3. Condition of your family
4. Condition of your community

What It Means To Be a Watchman
1. Be with God (relationship)
2. See what He sees
3. Discern what to do with what you see
4. Respond in the spiritual and the natural

Practical Advice:
1. Pick one day a week outside of your Daily Encounter to intentionally pray and watch.
a. Worship and pray in the Spirit.
b. Write down anything you sense or see from the Lord.
c. Reflect on how you are doing with what He showed you — and pray what He leads you to pray.
d. Reflect on how your family is doing with what He showed you — and pray.
e. Ask Him what He wants you to do about what He shows you.
2. Pray His Kingdom and will over yourself and your family daily.
3. Before major decisions, fast and pray to hear and know God's will.
4. Before minor decisions, ask God for His opinion.
5. Ask God, "What is the most important thing You want me to know or do today?"

Greek: ἐπίσκοπος (Episkopos) = Overseer, bishop, superintendent

Fathers, you are the watchmen assigned to your home. Your kids are waiting for you to take your post.

They don't need a perfect father—they need a praying one!
