Demons have super-human strength.
Demons are persistently cruel.
Demons have destructive tendencies.
Demons recognize deity.
The will of Christ binds demons.
Jesus used this as proof that deliverance had indeed taken place in the man’s life.
It was a vivid object lesson to the city.
It was an act of judgment.
