There is good reason to believe that the Apostle Paul wrote this letter.
He likely wrote it from prison, as the last of his final 3 letters (with Colossians and Philemon).

Paul had a deeper relationship with the Ephesians (Acts 18-Acts 20) having stayed with them for almost 3 years. His message to them is unique among all the letters he wrote:

1st Big Idea that Paul wants us to Understand:

Grace

2nd Big Idea that Paul wants us to Understand:

Peace

Challenge for this week: Keep track of the times when you recognize the need for grace or the absence of peace. Begin to talk to God about them as you read through the book of Ephesians.
