Introduction
As we view the life of Joseph, we read that God was with him throughout it. I hope we all can realize that God is with us no matter where we may be and He desires to do a wonderful work in our lives.

The Lord was with Joseph in the hour of loneliness
Joseph’s brothers initial plan was to put him to death. Instead, they sold him into slavery. He was taken to a foreign land. Without a doubt, Joseph was a lonely person. However, the Bible says that in his hour of loneliness, the Lord was with him. The Lord is with us as well. He never leaves us or forsakes!

The Lord was with Joseph in the hour of uncertainty
Joseph lived through a time of not knowing exactly what was going to happen to him next. Try to imagine. He’s traveling with strangers in a Egypt as a slave. Life brings a lot of uncertainty. It did in Joseph’s case, but God never left him. He was always with Joseph. He is always with us! The slave became a master. He was over everything in Potiphar’s house. God worked in the hour of uncertainty.

The Lord was with Joseph in the hour of temptation
Potiphar’s wife made unwelcomed advances toward Joseph. In the hour of temptation, the Lord was with Joseph. In our time of temptation, the Holy Spirit is available to help us overcome temptation and get victory, if we choose to do so.

The Lord was with Joseph in the hour of great disappointment
Joseph was faithful to God. He lived for the Lord when no one was around to watch him and when others were weaker in character. Can you imagine how disappointed he must have been when Mrs. Potiphar lied and he was cast into prison? In the hour of disappointment, the Lord was with Joseph. When Joseph got there to prison, God was there waiting for him. He will be with us in our hour of loneliness too!
